The fuel insurance crisis continues, and the issue is related to the fresh dollar, and the current production of Electricity in Lebanon is “zero hours”. This is the time to start them up again! The director of the Al-Zahrani thermal plant, Ahmed Abbas, told Al-Jadeed that the problem is that the fuel ships whose payload is less than the consumption capacity of the Deir Ammar plant and the Al-Zahrani plant, and each plant needs 60,000 tons per month. He pointed out that it is expected that the two factories will return to work between next Tuesday and Wednesday, stressing that the fuel insurance crisis continues and the issue is related to the fresh dollar and the current electricity production in Lebanon is “zero hours.”
