The head of the Syndicate of Owners of Ovens in Sidon and the South, Zakaria Al-Arabi Al-Qudsi, announced that all the bakeries are heading south, including the Sidon and Al-Arabi ovens, to stop working and close, starting from tonight, due to the depletion of their stock of flour and their inability to secure their needs due to the lack of it. Al-Araby pointed out that “a large part of Sidon bakeries stopped working earlier in the day, and the rest will follow them successively because they no longer have flour, and therefore the bakeries will not be able to secure the citizen’s need for loaf until the flour crisis is resolved.”
