We reject the suspicious silence about Ghada Aoun’s crimes The Head of the Future Parliamentary Bloc, MP Bahia Hariri, called on her behalf and on behalf of the Future Bloc, Prime Minister Najib Mikati, and was informed of the prosecution’s path against the Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Imad Othman, by Judge Ghada Aoun. Major General Othman carried out all his duties and was in complete coordination with him and the Minister of Interior and Municipalities. President Mikati praised Major General Othman’s good performance and considered that this allegation was pure slander and had nothing to do with the truth. Prime Minister Mikati assured MP Hariri that he will personally follow up this issue with the Minister of Justice and the Public Prosecutor to stop discrimination This persistence in attacking the institutions of the state, its prestige and the dignity of those in charge of it. For its part, MP Hariri, on behalf of the Future Bloc, affirmed its absolute rejection of this continued disregard by the judicial supervisory bodies and the heads of Judge Aoun, and for this dubious silence about the legal violations it commits in the name of the law in implementation of political aims and personal whims that have become known to all. Al-Hariri assured Al-Miqati that the Future Parliamentary Bloc will not remain silent about these abuses, the continuation of which would lead to dire consequences. Al-Mustaqbal will follow up this case within various frameworks, leading to a request for a general parliamentary discussion session to hold the Minister of Justice accountable for the crimes committed by Judge Aoun.
