The Supreme Judicial Council considered that challenging judicial decisions for those who complain about them is a sacred right, considering that defaming the judges who issued these decisions comes under the heading of undermining justice. The Council also considered in a statement, based on the foregoing, that what the first investigative judge, as well as the investigative judges and the Appeals Public Prosecution in the North Lebanon Governorate were subjected to, harms the dignity and reputation of the judges, stressing that these actions would undermine confidence in the judiciary and legitimize social chaos. The Council indicated that it is in the process of taking the necessary legal action in this regard.
