Stroke or Brain Attack is a disease that involves the blood vessels that supply blood to the brain.
A stroke occurs when a blood vessel that brings oxygen and nutrients to the brain ruptures or is clogged by a blood clot or some other mass.
Without adequate supply of oxygen, nerve cells of the brain can’t work and die within minutes. When nerve cells can’t work, the area of the body they control can’t work either.

Stroke is a disease that affects the arteries of the brain, and it occurs as a result of a sudden imbalance in the blood supply to the brain, often due to a blockage or sudden explosion of one of the brain arteries.

King Faisal Specialist Hospital explained, through Twitter, the signs of a stroke, which are as follows:
1.numbness or weakness in the face, arm or leg; especially on one side of the body.
2.Difficulty seeing in one or both eyes.
3.Difficulty speaking or understanding.
4.Difficulty walking, dizziness and loss of balance.
5.A sudden, severe headache that may be accompanied by nausea.

If you have already had a stroke or are at risk of having a stroke, you can make some heart-healthy lifestyle changes to try to prevent a future stroke : 1.Eating a heart-healthy diet 2.Aiming for a healthy weight. 3.Managing stress. 4.Getting regular physical activity. 5.Quitting smoking. 6.Managing your blood pressure and cholesterol levels.

If these changes aren’t enough, you may need medicine to control your risk factors.
