The Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamiya, discussed in his office, with the Director of the International Finance Corporation in Lebanon, Saad Sabra, “ways of cooperation in the technical, financial and legal study that was prepared previously for the project to rehabilitate and expand Rafic Hariri International Airport, and the possibility of developing a feasibility study for this vital project and sharing between the two sectors” private and public.”

Hamiya stressed that “the above-mentioned study must be re-read because it was based on data that are no longer available, so that it notes the current reality of the airport and the intended expansion to be adopted.” Hamiya thanked Sabra for his “professionalism and engagement at work,” expressing his “willingness to cooperate with that reputable institution,” noting that “a meeting was held later to lay down a road map to define the frameworks for cooperation.”
